During term time, we have after-school and weekend mixed watersports lessons available. These are 2-3 hour sessions and cover beginners, through to advanced sailing and racing techniques. An eight week course is available at the beginning of each term. Dates and times are specific to each course and information is available from the Centre.
When school is out, full 5 day courses are operated including all the activities the centre has on offer.Often venturing off-island to other bays and harbours as day trips in the fleet. The students do not have to register for complete weeks, but can opt to take part on a daily basis. Fun and safety are the name of the game and in the BVI that’s not difficult to provide!

Sailing in the singlehanded and crewed dinghies and keel boats, is augmented by exploring the shallower areas of Sea Cows Bay including ‘Mangrove island’ and it’s sandbank and the extensive Mangrove back drop to the bay in the kayaks and Canoes. Swimming and snorkeling proves highly popular and these day time programmes always include powerboat trips to the top BVI snorkel sites.
Easter, Summer & Christmas see a mixed Watersports programme including Sailing, Swimming, Powerboating & Kayaking. All these activities are subject to the ability of the group and prevailing weather conditions on the day. Some activities may take place away from the centre. Parents may be asked to deliver or collect their children to or from other venues on Tortola. Adequate warning will be given in this event. Some activities may not be suitable to the younger students – such as long distance sails, parents will be advised.
