ADULT DINGHY SAILING

Courses take several forms. Flexibility for  our clients is
important. For local residents, it is possible to book individual
lessons and coaching sessions at your convenience depending
on the centre’s schedule.

Start Sailing and Basic Skills can be completed in a 5 day period
or the equivalent hours. Many adult students book 2-3 hour
sessions fitting in with their own, busy agenda.
Once the basics are learnt, or if you already have dinghy sailing
experience, further modules are available. Each subsequent
step is a 2 day or equivalent programme.

On-the-water time for students is extremely important to us. Between structured courses, once the basic skills are completed, every effort is made to keep you sailing and practicing what you have already learnt. You can become part of the ‘Stay Afloat’ Scheme which allows you to use the fleet at specified times to practice your skills, or perhaps have a go at some fun, evening racing .

You may prefer to ‘step up’ into a larger sailing yacht? 1 day and weekend Keelboat handling courses are available using racer-cruising boats such as the J120.
